“Someone please give this black fairy an energy shot... I’m not feelin’ a whole lot of magic here.”

There are some trends that are timeless and will always be known in the world of fashion. These trends have lasted through all the different fashion changes our culture has gone through because they truly are "timeless pieces." Timeless designers, such as CoCo Chanel, often will create these timeless pieces. It is the most successful thing a designer can create, for it will never go out of style and will alway stay "classic," making it ultimately desirable to its consumer. This includes rings, watches, purses, jeans, pearls, and the of course, the little black dress. The infamous little black dress was made to have the ability to look great on almost anyone, almost anywhere. Notice the world almost. Sarah Jessica Parker here is an example of why the word almost is in that phrase. It looks like her mission with this dress was to make a rendition of the little black dress by adding frills, poufs, shoulder straps and then tying it all up across her chest and stamping it with a star. Gift wrapping completed! This version of the little black dress has way too much going on, making it distracting for the viewer. However, I’m not sure which is worse: the dress or the expression on her face. Sarah Jessica Parker doesn’t look too happy that she chose this dress either. Unfortunately for her she realized this after stepping outside the comfort of her home and onto the red carpet. Too bad she forgot the magic fairy wand that comes with this dress to bippidy bopity boo her way out of there.

Want to see how the timeless little black dress can be worn to actually look good? Feast your eyes upon a starlet that’s known for not only her voice, but also her great style. Taylor Swift
